Grayson is the dominant of the two, so I would try him first. But, if you cannot reach him, Vanessa is the co-owner and his submissive.

Also, I hope you don't have an issue with vampires.

I don't. The man who owned the club I worked at was a vampire. The Master of St. Louis. And he always took good care of me.

Master of St. Louis? I've never heard of a title like that before.

Well, good to know he took care of you. Grayson and Vanessa are both vampires. So am I.. unless it's the full moon. Then I have a completely different issue for a few days.

Basically he's the vampire in charge of the city. At least for other vampires. And the werewolves.

What kind of issue do you have on the full moon?

The furry kind.
I'm a werewolf for a few days, then I'm back to my usual vampiric self for the rest of the month.

At least not yet. I’ve only had the furry issue for a few months now. Its still very new to me.

But it seems like i am my world’s version of werewolf so thats cool.

In one word? Weird.

There was only one werewolf left back home and he was in my unit. He could do some unbelievable things and I'm beginning to understand why he wanted to die so badly.

I already had the speed and strength. But, the healing is insane and my body's nearly indestructible.

But the weirdest thing? I have a beating heart for a few days out of the month. It's fucking weird.

Sounds pretty much the same, then. I don't know what you mean by him wanting to die, though. Unless he didn't want to be a werewolf. A lot of people back home get turned because of attacks.

Seriously? There are...thousands of lycanthopes of all kinds back home. Though... I knew a lamia once. She was the last of her kind.

Back home, there was only him and maybe a thousand or so of us artificial vampires left.
The count of true vampires were like.. two.

Artificial? All our vampires were true vampires. I don't even know what artificial would be.

It was fine, I guess? A lot of politics I wasn't involved in mostly. And a lot of people getting attacked.

[Most people don't understand her world. It's okay.]

Imagine if occult magic and science had a baby and decided the daddy was dracula. That's how that happened.

[Don't ask her explain, she couldn't even if she did understand it.]

What I can't imagine is politics and vampires going together. We'd rather kill each other than talk and often did. Though attacks? That I can understand at least.

I'm not even sure what to say to that. Except you all have be pretty young.

True, but all of the more powerful vampires have their own territories. And there are even more powerful vampires who are in charge of them. So it's less politics and more a cold war, each of them testing the other vampires more than outright attacking them. If you're strong, they let you be. If you're weak, they go in for the kill.

Most humans don't know anything about that part of it.

Well, if you consider my total age being somewhere in my 70s or 80s young, then yes. I've only been a vampire for like fifty years of my existence.

[So, sort of test-tube vampire. More like, results of genetic-experiments.]

See, I understand Cold Wars. That makes more sense than politics and so does knowing the strong can hold their own and the weak don't last long.

Most humans weren't aware of us either.

Vampires only became public citizens a couple of years ago. Before that, it was all very much a private kind of world.

Hold on. Vampires are recognized as citizens in your world?
