I would say the strangest way I met one of my friends was by infiltrating an exclusive party, disguised as someone who received an invitation to be there. He was my guide at the party, as it turns out. And he became one of my dearest friends throughout the years.

Mine is probably very city-appropriate. I met mine half-naked. We both worked at the same strip club. And we were both thrown into the community around the same time, so we helped each other.

Well. He helped me more than I helped him at first, but I like to think I was giving more back before I came here.

In movies and TV there's this image of men leering at female strippers. And maybe, if they're the kind of men you don't want to sympathize with, grabbing an ass if they can.

Women? Are a lot bolder than that. I've come home with scratches in awkward places.

Yes. I don't know anyone here. At least not from back home. I've met people by now of course.

I think us women are a lot more forward than people like to give us credit for, but I am sorry to hear that other women have been so bold as to hurt you in their eagerness. I hope they at least tip well.

I don't have anyone from home here with me either, although I've heard some friends of mine have been here before I arrived myself. How are you settling into the city otherwise?

Not bad. I don't need much. I'm looking at some of the places in the city for work, but I haven't approached anybody yet.

I was an exotic dancer back home, so maybe at one of the strip clubs? Or Catsanova. Or I've seen some kind of BDSM club.

I will, thank you. Though it takes more for me to get hurt than most people.

It's like a cat cafe, except the cats are actually human? But I have a bit of an advantage because I'm a wereleopard. So there'd be an actual cat but with a human mind in the cafe.

Oh. That's an interesting concept. You're a wereleopard? Can you change at will, or is it like werewolves and you have to wait until the full moon?

Wolves are the same as leopards. We can change at will, though it can make us hungry to turn into the animal and then exhaust us to turn back into a human. The moon does call to us and the closer it gets, the more we feel compelled to change.

Oh interesting. Does the moon provide you with any extra energy for your transformations? The hunger and exhaustion sounds like they both must be challenging to deal with, though.

Energized. I suppose I do feel a bit energized around the time of a full moon.

I made them. Because I enjoy cooking things for my friends and you're one of my friends. I don't want anything. No one knew it was my birthday.

Anything. I like learning new recipes.
Both? It was usually a cuddle pile back home with arms and legs strewn all over.
Depends on the kind of dancing. I honestly like it all. I usually dance to stripper music.

Cuddle pile? So you would usually lay about with others? You wouldn't be opposed to me being affectionate, would you? [Gokudera could get him a weighted blanket... or a body pillow.]

Not challenging. Complicated, maybe. Baking requires a lot of measuring and math.
Wereleopards like to cuddle around in either human or animal form. It's a comfort kind of thing. [ And he doesn't have his pard in the city. ]
Well, I don't just work at Catsanova. I work at Fangtasy as a dancer.

Those are the easy things for me. Time management with cooking is way more difficult
Do your other wereleopard cuddle-friends look like you? Pale in human form and dark in animal form? Are they all the same type of leopard?
I don't want to gift you something for work! Your employer could do that!

That's what timers are for. I have a few.
No, most of my pard weren't panthers. Most of them were the standard leopard coloring.
That's what I usually dance to because it's what I do for work. Not the only music I like.

Pard. Group of wereleopards. My family. We have two. The leopard and the human.

Pard is a group of wereleopards, got it. Your family. You have two what? Families? A human family and a separate leopard family? Do they know about each other?

I don't have a human family anymore.

So your only family is a group of wereleopards? Is it a found family kind of thing?

Sort of? Lycanthropy where I'm from is a disease. You're bitten or mauled and some of the time - most of the time - you because the type of wereanimal that bit you. There are some kinds like swans, where it's an actual family line, but most of the ones you see are like me, only different animals. Wolves, rats, lions.

I met someone when I was seventeen and he told me what he was and offered me a choice. I could stay where I was or I could become what he was.

Yes. And then he was killed, but that's a longer story.
